Now I Lay me down to Sleep

And guess how you spend your days when Saskatchewan Spring hits you with just above freezing temperatures and howling winds all day long? Yup, you guessed it! Quilt the day away....and of course I have to share... The colours are quite a bit nicer than the camera shows, but it gives you an idea. Now I just have to wait for her to get old enough to want a "blankie" to snuggle with. I picked up the panel while in Edmonton when she was born, but did not want to make your basic panel quilt. So with a bit of measuring , making some pinwheel blocks and adding a logcabin designs around the blocks I was able to create this little blanket for our darling Olivia! I can't wait to be able to give it to her, and I only have to wait 241 days.

  1. Why so long? Please don't tell me it is 241 days til Christmas...last Christmas came up and slipped by so fast I can hardly imagine it is so few days til the next one!

  2. It turned out really nice!! Looks soooo soft!

  3. ya it is sooo soft. I think she will have lots of snuggles under it! Glad you like it!
